Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: 11/25/2025 By submitting a booking request or enrolling in a Membership Plan for Scrum Master as a Service (“SMaaS”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions governing the engagement between you (“Client”) and NBD Consulting Services (“Consultant”). 1. Engagement Scope SMaaS provides fractional Scrum Master support aligned to the engagement type (Team Launch Support, Sprint Stabilization, or Ways-of-Working Tune-Up) and intensity (Lite, Standard, or Full) selected by the Client. Specific goals, activities, and priorities will be finalized with the Client during onboarding. 2. Engagement Duration SMaaS engagements operate on a 4-week cycle through a recurring Membership Plan. The cycle renews automatically unless canceled by the Client. 3. Scheduling & Availability Consultant will provide services within the weekly hour range of the selected intensity tier. Scheduling is based on mutual availability and aligned with team ceremonies where applicable. 4. Fees, Billing & Payment Terms 4.1 Billing Model SMaaS is billed through a recurring 4-week Membership Plan, processed automatically via Wix. 4.2 Payment Requirements Services begin only after initial payment is confirmed. Recurring payments are charged automatically at the start of each 4-week period. Failed or missed payments may pause services until resolved. 4.3 Refunds Payments are nonrefundable once a 4-week cycle has begun. Services remain active through the end of the paid cycle. 5. Service Delivery (Virtual or On-Site) 5.1 Virtual Delivery SMaaS can be delivered fully online via Client-approved collaboration platforms. 5.2 Local On-Site Delivery On-site services are available within a 50-mile radius of Aliso Viejo at no additional cost. 5.3 Travel Beyond 50 Miles For Client locations outside the 50-mile radius: Travel must be pre-approved by the Client. Reasonable travel costs may be billed, including: Transportation (airfare, rideshare, mileage at IRS rate) Lodging (if required) Per diem or meal reimbursement No travel will be scheduled without prior Client approval. 6. Client Responsibilities To ensure a successful engagement, the Client agrees to: Provide access to necessary systems, teams, and communication channels Maintain timely communication and availability for scheduled sessions Support adoption of recommended Agile practices Designate a primary point of contact Provide ac
